This term we are delighted to be running a Beginners Course. This means that we start at the very beginning (‘a very good place to start’) and build gradually week by week, introducing the basic elements of yoga practice. We breath softly and stretch gently, being kind with our bodies and easing in to calm.
This is both a studio and an online course, so if you would prefer you practice in the warmth, comfort and privacy of your own home. Please just have a yoga mat and a light blanket to hand for the closing relaxation. This is ideal for those completely new to yoga, or returning after a period away.
There is a handout each week so that you have a visual reference to return to. One participant said,“Just go for it! Lose yourself in an hour of yoga. It put my body at rest and gave my mind something to concentrate on. You don’t have to do all the moves but it really does help the body relax and the feeling afternwards is the best. It’s so comfortable being able to learn from home.”
