RIVER FLOW YOGA
Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th
Join us for our River Flow Yoga weekend retreat at Chapel on the Green.
We offer contemporary accommodation in the beautiful Village of Glasbury – near, Hay on Wye, Mid Wales.
Join us for a weekend of yoga and walking meditation and writing workshop to help set new intentions for the year ahead.
A little bit like making a miniature New Year's resolution; an intention is something many of us might make before a yoga practice. An intention is usually something recognised as the practice of bringing awareness to a quality or virtue you’d like to cultivate for yourself. These are things we will explore on this retreat, making new intentions for the year ahead within your practice and how carry that though to how you want to 2020 to be for you. Setting new goals, within and outside of your practice.
The focus of our The weekend includes yoga, chanting, sound meditations, lead by River Flow Director Graham Nolan and guest teacher Adrienne Bird. You will be staying in beautiful accomodation at Chapel on the Green and have the most delicious vegetarian and vegan food. There will also be a writing workshop with Guardian prize winner Jenny Valentine.
In this Writing workshop you will be setting down your intentions and values using poetry, journal and free-writing techniques. Explore your voice through first person narrative - the "I" in memoir as well as creative imaginative prose. Come away feeling confident in your ability to put pen to paper and let it flow.
There will also be walking meditation in the stunning Welsh Landscape and time to relax. Graham and Adrienne will be leading the weekend and making sure your needs are met supported by Matthew (host and chef). Whether you are hoping to develop your yoga practice or want to have a fun but relaxing weekend away from the city - we have you covered! This is a weekend about recharging your batteries and learning tools to use to live in the present.
