RIVER FLOW YOGA
Graham is the founder of River Flow Yoga, who is a qualified teacher with British Wheel of Yoga and a practitioner in the field of the senses – working for almost 20 years with deafblind people as well as teaching yoga. His style is relaxed, accessible and warm. Graham now calls Glasbury home where he lives with his partner and three dogs – the river and the mountains have had a profound effect on his yoga and through his practice he shares some of that natural inspiration. Graham teaches from a place of integrity and passion for the accessability of yoga – he is developing a yoga teacher training in 2018 which for the first time in Europe will be delivered in English and British Sign Language. As well as being deeply laid back and relaxed – Graham also enjoys a good laugh – be prepared to share this phenomena throughout classes and retreats!
Graham’s teaching style is open to all, being a signer, and specialist in the field of disabilities Graham believes that yoga classes should be accessible and open to all. Graham also holds an MSc in Communication and Congenital Deafblindness where his thesis focused on teaching social care staff mindfulness techniques in order to become better communication partners with people who are deafblind. As part of that study Graham focused on the relationship between the mind and our senses, most importantly touch, qualifying as a Thai Yoga Massage Therapist. Graham also provides massages from Chapel on the Green - a tranquil and beautiful space in the heart of Glasbury.
Adrienne lives and teaches yoga in north London, alongside working as an Occupational Therapist in the field of mental health. She does yoga because it allows her to be happy in her own skin and teaches to empower others to feel the same. Having graduated from her 200 hour teacher training with Yogacampus, Adrienne has a special interest and further training in using yoga techniques for stress management. Her classes might be described as intuitive Hatha style, always including ample opportunity for reflection and relaxation. In her spare time, if not doing yoga herself, Adrienne can most likely be seen at home dancing around with her family and cats.
Blue has been working with the tarot for over 10 years, initially drawn to it by an interest in magical symbolism and archetypes in art. Her exploration of esoteric subjects began as a child, with a fascination for sacred sites and stone circles, followed by a life long interest in how ritual and magic can exist in the everyday. A sensitive and generous reader, Blue approaches the tarot in a humanist manner, seeing the cards as tools for insight, growth and empowerment, an opportunity to unfold the journey ahead of you.
Ella is a certified Transformational Breath® facilitator and Group Leader who found Transformational Breath® when hosting a workshop at her former yoga studio. She was ‘blown’ away be the power and profoundly liberating nature of the practice and its ability to shift ‘stuff’ (quickly and directly) that she had been carrying around for far too long that other therapies - talking, energy and body had not been able to move. Through establishing a daily practise Ella noticed the long-lasting benefits of connecting with her breath in freedom from anxiety, panic attacks, restricted breathing and habitual patterns of behaviour.
Ella is also a Reiki Master, Coach and Meditation Teacher who supports her clients through deep life transformation using the breath and these supporting tools at her home in Hertfordshire.
