Yoga and Foraging for Bontanicals

The focus of our The weekend includes yoga, foraging, chanting, sound meditations, lead by River Flow Director Graham Nolan and forager and author Adele Nozedar. You will be staying in beautiful accommodation at Chapel on the Green and have the most delicious vegetarian and vegan food.

Botanical Gin Workshop info

A feast for all the senses, this Botanical Drink Workshop starts with a short (half an hour) forage to see if we can find flowers, leaves, petals and other interesting natural (and non-toxic, natch) finds to use in the gin itself. After this we come back to base where you are get to find out lots of lovely nuggety bits of info about gin in the form of a quiz, and THEN you get to play with Adele’s vast range of weird and wonderful herbs, spices and tinctures as she guides you through the process of making your own, absolutely unique gin blend or non alcoholic alternative. You also take away a 300ml jar of that blend and instructions about what to do once you get your precious potion home! The workshop lasts 1.5 to 2 hours. Oh, and a wild cocktail is included.

This process is easy to adapt for a non-alcoholic cordial or water kefir. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks can be catered for in the same workshop.

There will also be walking meditation in the stunning Welsh Landscape and time to relax. Graham  will be leading the weekend and making sure your needs are met supported by Matthew (host and chef). Whether you are hoping to develop your yoga practice or want to have a fun but relaxing weekend away from the city - we have you covered!  This is a weekend about recharging your batteries and learning tools to use to live in the present.
