Mountain Yoga
A haven for stillness and personal discovery. . .
During this weekend we will be reconnecting with the natural world and beauty of Wales though yoga and meditation practices.
On your mat and in the surrounding landscapes, we will focus on awareness of movement, breathing, and mindfulness.
We will be foraging in natural landscapes looking for detail, a concentrations on the plants – and, indeed, animals and insects. Food foraged will be used to cook in our Saturday evening meal.
Relax in a peaceful and balanced atmosphere,
Surrounded by bird song, flowing rivers and majestic mountains.
The focus of our weekend includes yoga, foraging, chanting and sound meditations, lead by River Flow Director Graham Nolan and forager and author Adele Nozedar.
Your home for the weekend will be at the beautiful St. Eigons Retreat Venue where you will be treated to the most delicious home cooked vegetarian and vegan food.
Walking Meditations in Nature
Across the weekend there will be three guided walks in our stunning Welsh landscapes
- an evening walk under the moonlight to invigorate our senses
- a guided foraging walk with Adele Nozedar
- a guided walking meditation to close the retreat
The Weekend programme is structured for both beginners and experienced Yoga students and you will be guided with kindness and laughter throughout the weekend.
Additional to yoga sessions and foraging there will plenty of time to relax and read, have a Thai Yoga Massage, or a trip to Hay-on-Wye, Historic Town of Books. We close the weekend with walking meditation in the stunning Welsh Landscape.
Graham will be leading the weekend and making sure your needs are met supported by Rebecca (host and chef). Whether you are hoping to develop your yoga practice or want to have a fun but relaxing weekend away from the city - we have you covered! This is a weekend about recharging your batteries and learning tools to use to live in the present.
